The leading institutions of the IRTG/CREATE will be the University of Cologne (UoC) on the German side and the Université de Montréal (UdeM) on the Canadian side, respectively. German partners are the Chemistry and Physics Departments of the University of Bonn (UB), Canadian partners are McGill University, Université de Quebec à Montréal (UQAM), Ecole Polytechnique Montréal (EPoly), and Institute National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS).
